The first burglary occurred Oct. 26, at Curtis Ryan Honda on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton during the overnight hours, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango.

After viewing surveillance video, two males could be seen throwing a rock through the service department window and stealing key fobs hanging on the wall. The two suspects then went to the parking lot and stole two customer vehicles, Bango said.

On Sunday, Mario D’Daddario Buick/Nissan on Bridgeport Avenue was also burglarized and key fobs were taken and a vehicle was stolen.

Police later recovered a vehicle from Curtis Ryan and the one vehicle from D’Daddario, the detective added.

During the investigation, detectives found a note from a school in Bridgeport that had a student’s name on it inside one of the cars.

After further investigation, a 15-year-old Bridgeport juvenile was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of larceny.

The investigation is ongoing and other arrests are expected.
